When it comes to hiring a photo booth, most consumers have a wide range of choice. Not only are there hundred (if not thousands) of photo booth providers throughout the UK, but there is also a range of different types of photo booth to choose from. Below we will explore some of the common types you are likely to see at parties, weddings, and corporate events.

Traditional Photo Booth

A traditional photo booth is the most common type you are likely to see at an event. They are available in a range of different shapes, from rectangles to circles. They work great in indoor venues, and allow your guests to grab a stack of great photo strips throughout your event.

Inflatable Photo Booth

An inflatable photo booth works in much the same way as a traditional photo booth, but the exterior shell is inflatable, and not rigid. This does have some benefits over a traditional photo booth, as they can be set up faster, and come in a range of different shapes and sizes.

Caravan Photo Booths

Caravan booths have become increasingly popular, but they do unfortunately have a larger price tag. Everything is conveniently packed into the caravan, and set up is normally a breeze. You and your guests can all clamber in and have some great shots. They do generally need to be parked outside though.

Taxi Photo Booths

Taxi photo booths can be great fun, but they generally need to be parked outside. They can be very fast to set up, and provide all of the benefits of a traditional photo booth. In the UK, there is a selection of black cab booths, as well as yellow taxi photo booths to choose from.

Open Photo Booths

An open photo booth is exactly what it says on the tin – a photo booth that does not have an enclosure. This is great in a number of scenarios, such as limited available space for setting up a photo booth, or perhaps you have your own media wall that you want guests to stand in front of.

Now you know a little more about the different types of photo booth available for your next function. But the big decision is deciding which to choose!
